Risk Oracle Card

I use The Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Cards: A 52-Card Deck and Guidebook by Colette Baron-Reid, to provide a thought for the week. The information below is not the text-book version of the cards’ meaning, but my own summary and interpretation of the cards significance.

Risk Oracle Card

The Sacred Journey Markers

Opportunities and changes are on the horizon for many of us right now. Some of these opportunities may be risky, but is it always best to take the safe option?

Going into the unknown, whether it be calculated or a spur of the moment decision can be a little frightening, but you are fortunate to have an inner guidance system, to call upon when required.

Risk is abound with contradictions, mixed messages so listen to your higher, intuitive self and act accordingly. If it does not feel like a good move then it probably is not right, at this time, to pursue change. But remember, if it is intended for you and your life purpose, then the situation will present itself again, when you feel more equipped and ready to take on the challenge.

Having said that, sometimes it is good for the soul to take that leap of faith. The earths elements and energy and are ready to assist you right now, in this very moment, all you have to do is gather your courage and go for it. If it does not work out as hoped then you still have a valued life experience to learn and grow from.

You may feel as if you are walking alone in the dark, the direction has not been fully illuminated for you as yet. You may be on a creative path, which you love, yet you are unsure of where it will go, where it may lead, how you could take it to the next level or whether it will come to an abrupt halt.  All these questions and more can be answered, if you simply ask for assistance from yourself, your guides, the angels or any energy you have an affinity with.

The most important aspect of any unknown venture is to do what you enjoy doing – the finer details will take care of themselves.
